We are excited to have you on our Team. This Team Member Manual is provided to help familiarize you with the policies relating to your employment with Rick Allgeier & Associates, Inc. - a.k.a. ALLGEIER Air, a.k.a. The Fire Place - a.k.a. The Company.
The policies and rules contained herein are not exclusive, but are merely meant to provide you general guidelines concerning your relationship with The Company.
It is not a contract of employment, nor is it intended to create any proprietary interests in continued employment with the Company.
We feel strongly that, if we are guided by the priciples within this manual each of us as members of The Company will be exceptional. In turn your exceptionalism will make Allgeier Air exceptional.
All employees are requested to read this handbook. This Handbook is always available on this Company Intranet. You merely need to Log in with your Allgeier Air Workspace User Name and Password. If you do not remember your user name or password a new one can be created by the office. Please let your direct supervisor know. On occasion, you will be notified of changes and modifications in the policies contained in this handbook. When updates for the handbooks are made you will be notified via Company email to your Company assigned email address.
You should also be aware that from time to time the management of Allgeier Air, just as any other Company, has to make business decisions without consultation with its employees. The management of The Company therefore retains exclusive discretion to exercise customary functions of management including, but not limited to, the sole discretion to establish, change and abolish policies, procedures, rules and regulations; and to assign duties to employees in accordance with the needs and requirements as determined by the Company.
Notwithstanding anything contained in this handbook, it should be clearly understood that none of the procedures, policies, practices, particulars, rules or benefits contained herein constitute any employee contract. Not only are these procedures, policies, practices, rules and benefits contained in this handbook subject to unilateral change without notice, but all employment at Allgeier Air is at the will and pleasure of the Company and the employment of any employee can be terminated, with or without cause, and with or without advanced notice, at the option of the Company.
No one has the answer to every situation. Therefore, if during the course of your work you have an idea for improving our service, let us know! We welcome your suggestions. After all, if the suggestions help the Company improve our business in the coming years, this obviously will make the Company a better place in which to work.
